Stonehouse Male Voice Choir Help Charities

The Stonehouse Male Voice Choir have donated a total of £600 to three charities in the village. The singers raised the money at their annual concert.

They donated the money to The Acting Bairns of Stonehouse (TABS), the Girls’ Brigade and Hope Cafe Lanarkshire. Each charity received £200.

The choir is always looking for new members, and this year four new members have joined.

So if you are a male and enjoy singing you will be made most welcome at next session’s rehearsals starting on the first Tuesday in September at 7.30pm.

There are no auditions and the emphasis is on enjoyment through singing.

Angela Cooper from TABS, Grace Allan from the Girls Brigade and Lisa Cameron from Hope Cafe were accompanied by other volunteers when they received their cash from male voice choir members Danny Baxter, Bill Grainger and Ray Ashe.
