Ashley Banjo At Open Day
Cherographer Ashley Banjo, the leader of dynamic street dance group Diversity, is to make a special guest appearance at a new Lanarkshire dance studio.
The star will be at the upcoming open day of Dance Inc’s Bothwell Main Street studio, run by Louise McHendrie, on Saturday, August 29.
Ashley exploded onto our screens in 2009 after winning the final of Britain’s Got Talent watched by over 20 million viewers. Since then he’s starred in a blockbuster movie, created multiple sell out nation-wide arena tours entertaining over one million people and become a judge on the hit SKY talent show Got To Dance.
Incorporating several genres of music from classical to hip-hop, Diversity’s diverse eye-catching routines won the hearts of the nation.
Louise is delighted to welcome the star to her second dance studio, having already opened the sucessful Dance Inc in Busby five years ago.
She said: “I am beyond excited to have managed to secure Ashley for our open day.
“It hasn’t been an easy booking but thankfully I never gave up and have arranged for him to travel up from London...just for us!
“I’ve always dreamed of being able to open another studio, and now having a big name like Ashley attend is just the icing on the cake.
“Its going to be a very special day for myself, my team and all of our dancers.”
The open day will take place at the new studio at 73/75 Main Street, Bothwell on Saturday, August 29 between 12pm and 5pm.
Twenty-six-year-old Ashley is set to make his appearance between 2pm and 4pm.
